Dhikr Reminder

It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar that :
The Messenger of Allah (SAWW) told them: “One of the slaves of Allah said: “O Lord, to You is praise as befits the Glory of Your Face and the greatness of Your Might” ‘ The angels were uncertain and did not know how to write this down, so they ascended to heaven and said: ‘O our Lord, Your slave has said a word that we do not know how to write down.’ Allah said – and He knows best what His slave said – ‘What did My slave say?’ They said: ‘O Lord, he said “O Lord, to You is praise as befits the Glory of Your Face and the greatness of your Might”. Allah said to them: ‘Write it down as My slave said it, until he meets Me and I shall reward him for it.'” (Da’if)

[Remembrance of Allah] Bismillah

Bismillah means With the Name of Allah. (bi->With, Ism->Name and Allah-> The God)

Whatever we start, we should start it with the name of Allah.

Opening eyes after sleep -> Say Bismillah.

Opening Laptop -> Say Bismillah.

Before Eating Food -> Say Bismillah

Whatever good act we are about to start, we should start it in the name of Allah SWT. Just imagine, if The Lord of the Worlds is with us in every good act of ours, what can go wrong with us.

May Allah SWT be with us in every good act of ours. Aameen.

[Remembrance of Allah] Subhan Allah

Subhan Allah means Allah is The Pure and Perfect Glory is to Allah. No impurity of any kind can be associated with Allah SWT.

With the will of Allah SWT, this is our azkaar series in which we will try to add thought in our azkaar to make our selves mentally available at the time of zikar. We knew it well that reciting every single Alphabet of Quran Majeed like Alif, Laam, Meem etc in the state of eman, adds to the good deeds of our record. So what will be the reward of recitation with the full availability of mind, body and soul. May we achieve and retain that particular state of faith and deeds. Aameen

Referring back to our current zikar, that is, Subhan Allah- Allah is the Glorified and Pure. I am not feeling well and for me (with my illness) the world seems to be ending as I can’t enjoy anymore, need to say Subhan Allah- Ya Allah, you are Pak and Perfect Glory is to Allah.

I need health to survive but Ya Allah! You are not in need of health. Subhan Allah.

I need family to survive but Ya Allah! You are not in need of family. Subhan Allah.

I need money to survive but Ya Allah! You are not in need of money. Subhan Allah.

Need Money, Health and Family? Ask from The One- Allah

[Remembrance of Allah] Allah o Akbar

Allah o Akbar means Allah is Great. Greatest of All. The Great Allah.

When we hear Allah o Akbar in Call for Prayer (Aazaan) it refers to the fact that Allah is Great amongst all, so whatever we are doing is not worthy continuing anymore, need to leave whatever we are doing at that time (even if Reciting Quran Majeed) and listen along with answering the Call for Prayer.

I am depressed and my heart is soft, better to cash the softness of heart so need to say Allah o Akbar, Ya Allah you are above all. Ya Allah! my depression is big but you are the Greatest, above everything that exists – Your Creations.

While being stuck in legalities, need to get signatures from dozens of ministries, offices and government sectors and thinking these people are great as people like us need to ran after them. Say NO, Allah is The Great. So next time we are waiting for the one to get our documents signed we need to remind ourselves by repeatedly saying Allah o Akbar, Allah o Akbar, Allah o Akbar.

Ya Allah, make us Muslims to remember in every fraction of second in our lives that Allah is Great, Greatest among all. Aameen
